Information for Troop Merit Badge Counselors!

Every Merit Badge Counsellor must be reauthorized by the District every year. The Troop's "Merit Badge Dean" will help ensure your paperwork is up to date. Your initial submission includes a separate "BSA Adult Leader" form and a MBC form listing your credentials for working on each badge you want to council. Subsequent renewals require a current registration and will retire a new MBC form for any changes to the MBs you want to work with. Please be sure to state whether you will only work with youth in our Troop, or are open to working with scouts from any troop in our District.
